Senior Social Media and Corporate Reputation Manager

Irvine, CA/ Full-time

Your responsibilities

As the Senior Social Media and Corporate Reputation Manager for Region North America (U.S., Canada, Mexico), this role serves as the central governance and oversight lead for regional and local social media, reviews and influencer programs. This role serves as the center of excellence lead, providing expertise and guidance to corporate, brand (Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau), product division and customer care social media teams in Region North America. The role is responsible for corporate BSH and BSH Experience and Design Center social media and influencer strategies and programs.

The role is also instrumental in supporting and executing reputational management strategies as directed by the Head of Corporate Communications & Gov Affairs. The Senior Social Media and Corporate Reputation Manager ensures integrated corporate communications and Social Media activities are aligned with overall internal and external communications efforts.

  • Social Media Governance – Responsible for regional and local social media governance ensuring the organization is well coordinated across organizational objectives to accomplish the strategic priorities, mission and vision of the organization. Oversees regional and local social media security protocols, social media regulatory risk and compliance, corporate and brand social media reputation management and safety. Manages BSH corporate agency partner/s, providing agency teams with appropriate information and oversight to effectively implement social media, reviews and influencer (if applicable) as well as key opinion leader (KOL) and content creator programs.
  • Social Media Risk Management – Provides oversight and guidance and – in case of critical issues that could harm BSH’s and its brands’ reputation, takes over and manages crisis topics for RNA for social media, reviews, influencer, key opinion leader (KOL) and content creator relations. Develops and executes issues and crisis management social strategies to ensure a positive reputation for BSH and, in case of critical issues that could harm BSH’s and its brands’ reputations. Aligns with global, regional and local stakeholders to ensure a cohesive, one-voice approach. Provides guidance and direction to regional and local social teams during issues and crisis management situations.
  • Social Media Center of Excellence – Social media strategist and lead service center for the region and local countries. Responsible for managing social media tools and platforms for BSH, its brands and product divisions. Manages social tool access and security; implements new social media tools for the organization. Determines and implements best practices for social media and influencer, KOL and content creator relations operating procedures. Oversees the social media and reviews community management monitoring and engagement strategies. Oversees social listening and provides guidance to social monitoring and engagement teams. Stays ahead of relevant social media, reviews, influencer, KOL and content creator development and trends. Establishes and implements innovative approaches and best practices throughout the region. Facilitates trainings throughout the organization for social media trends, social media products, platforms and tools, influencer, KOL and content creator best practices. Serves as adviser to regional and local stakeholders on social media analytics and reporting.
  • Influencer, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and Content Creator Relations – Responsible for regional and local governance and oversight of influencer, KOL and content creator relations management. Oversees influencer, KOL, content creator vetting and approval ensuring adherence to corporate policies, security protocols, reputational management guidelines and regulatory risk and compliance. Provides guidance and direction to corporate, brand and product divisions ensuring successful influencer, KOL and content creator programs in alignment with corporate and brand objectives.
  • Corporate Social Media Management – Responsible for corporate BSH social media. Develops and executes corporate social media strategies. Oversees community management, monitoring and reporting (including KPIs). Develops and implements corporate BSH paid and organic social programs. Directs content strategies for BSH. Supports and advises on social media, social commerce and influencer programs for the whole organization.
  • Reputation Management – Works closely with and supports the Head of Corporate Communications with issues and crisis management communications. Helps to define, plan and implement local crisis communications strategies. Ensures close collaboration with executive management and relevant global and local departments and stakeholders.
