Volunteer Web Designer (UX/UI), GABA Website Relaunch

GABA, the German American Business Association in California, is relaunching its website. We’re looking for a volunteer UX/UI web designer to help shape the new site.

What you’d work on:

  • Turning our existing sitemap into wireframes and user flows
  • Visual design for one GABA site with two chapter areas, NorCal and SoCal
  • Simplifying key journeys like membership sign-up and event pages
  • Handing off designs for the build in WordPress/Elementor

What we’re looking for:

  • A portfolio with website UX/UI work
  • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool
  • WordPress/Elementor familiarity is a plus

Time: part-time and flexible, the project runs roughly 13 to 18 weeks.
Location: remote work, preferably from California, but not limited to other locations, as long as Pacific Time can be met for team meetings.
