Please tell us something about yourself and what you do!
Bettina Kanno-Muñoz, Director Business Mixer of Orange County
I’m a Sales and Marketing Executive with experience in B2C and B2B across high-end home appliances, entertainment, airline, and automotive industries worldwide. I hold an MBA in International Business Economics, a Digital Marketing Nanodegree, and a Real Estate Salesperson License. I’m professionally proficient in German, English, French, and Spanish.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I have the travel bug and love exploring foreign countries, cultures, and languages. I have visited 44 countries for work and leisure and made a trip around the Southern Hemisphere.
What’s your most memorable experience with GABA so far?
My most memorable mixer was the one I organized on the newly opened rooftop bar on the 9th Floor of the Waterfront Hilton, where I made the connection between an investor who was interested in renewable energy projects and one of our valuable members who is also a hydrogen energy expert. I am proud to say that they recently successfully launched their first joint venture. Another memorable event was the Airline Expert Panel, which I organized in the midst of the Covid Pandemic when we were all confined to online meetings. Passionate about traveling and flying, I convinced experts from 12 airlines and two aircraft manufacturers to present the measurements and technical adjustments implemented by the aviation industry to make flying during Covid as safe as possible. We had over 100 guests dialed in, engaged in asking questions, and requesting a follow-up event.

GABA is all about meeting like-minded business professionals and making valuable and lasting connections. I love meeting people from all different backgrounds and professions and getting to know them well enough to be able to connect them to the matching professionals in our international community.
