Uwe Wagner – Changing Roles at GABA

After more than two decades of dedicated service to GABA, Uwe Wagner is stepping down from the Board of Directors to make room for new talent. Uwe’s journey with GABA has been marked by noteworthy contributions, particularly in areas such as Cyber Security and the establishment of the GABA Advisory Council. His involvement in initiatives like adapting to digital platforms like Zoom during the pandemic has been visionary. Throughout his time with GABA, Uwe has strongly supported our entire team.

As such, GABA’s success story is one of collective effort. It is the synthesis of the hard work and innovative thinking of many talented individuals, including our volunteers, GABA Management, our Industry and Focus Group Chairs, friends of the organization, and partners like SAP, WilmerHale, and many others.

We are saying goodbye to Uwe from the GABA Board, but we are pleased to announce that Uwe will remain engaged with GABA as an Industry Expert for AgeTech. This is a topic of great societal importance that Uwe has been passionate about for many years.

We are grateful to Uwe for his invaluable contributions to GABA’s success over the past 20 years, and we eagerly anticipate his continued work with GABA in his new role.
