
NextGen Transatlantic Technology Summit
The 2026 GABA Transatlantic Tech Summit, held at Stanford Research Park, brought together an impressive lineup of speakers and panelists, including leading voices from the worlds of artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, venture capital, and emerging technologies. Discussions explored topics ranging from the governance of AI and the rise of Physical AI to the growing importance of resilience, industrial innovation, and the future of transatlantic cooperation in technology.
The 2026 GABA NextGen Award was presented to Lukas Haffer, CEO of Casca, an AI-native operating system for business lending. Lukas impressed the audience as a visionary entrepreneur with a clear and compelling vision for the future of his company.
Recognizing outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship from across the Atlantic, Flexoo (represented by Sieer Angar and Michael Kröger) was honored with the 2026 GABA NextGen Transatlantic Technology Award for its pioneering work at the intersection of AI and the physical world, enabling Physical AI through advanced sensing technologies for industrial systems.
A special highlight of the event were the interviews with LinkedIn Co-Founder Konstantin Guericke and bestselling author Matt Domo who not only talked about their impressive careers, but also what’s ahead in the world of AI.
