Launch Tank Pitch Night

Visionary start-ups in the fields of online recruiting, tree care and drug development were the winning pitches at our Launch Tank Pitch Night in Palo Alto. Our judging panel of venture capitalists – Niklas Herriger (Cross-Atlantic Angles), Mani Honigstein (Honeystone Ventures), Jens Weitzel (Yabusame Partners), Steve Gillan (Blumberg Capital) and our co-host, Miku Mehta (Procopio) – heard their presentations, asked pointed questions and selected the winners. Two communications specialists gave valuable feedback and advised the presenters how to make short pitches even more concise and engaging to succeed on the “runway” for venture capital. We thank the 150 guests who provided a supportive audience, our host Procopio and our event partners JHTC (Jewish High Tech Community) and Keizai Silicon Valley, the US-Japan Business Forum, for a great collaboration.
