In this recent panel discussion, our speakers discussed\u00a0hybrid work models\u00a0and what this means for leadership, community building, equity, onboarding, loyalty and so much more. Hybrid Work is just at the beginning and the clear consensus was, it’s here to stay, but it will be an evolution.<\/p>\n

Thank you to\u00a0Florian Mezger\u00a0(ZEISS Group),\u00a0Jung Paik\u00a0(McKinsey & Company),\u00a0Sabine Remdisch\u00a0(Leuphana Universit\u00e4t L\u00fcneburg) and\u00a0Susan Whitlock\u00a0(Siemens Infrastructure) as well as\u00a0Petra Chequer\u00a0for moderating this insightful panel discussion.<\/p>\n

The discussion among these experts was rich on practical advice such as on how to \u201cbe there when you are not there\u201d, the use of personal channels (on pets or food for example) to create a sense of community, the importance of shifting focus on outcomes rather than time spent, and how to show digital empathy. Most importantly \u2013 one size does not fit all. For employees who cannot work from home, employers could consider offering other flexibilities and it was pointed out that some personality types need more interactions than others.<\/p>\n

This event was the fourth in our series organized jointly by GABA and our partner organization\u00a0GABC – German American Business Council of Boston\u00a0and supported by the\u00a0German Consulate Boston\u00a0and\u00a0the German Consulate General San Francisco.<\/p>\n
