Together with the German International School of Silicon Valley, GABA welcomed German expats and American professionals at the event "No Such thing As Small Talk: 7 Keys to Understanding German Business Culture". Melissa Lamson, author of the book "It's not enough to know the language" and Angelika Blendstrup Ph.D. from GABA explored with the audience the cultural differences in personal as well as in business life. In a lively discussions they shared own perspectives and experiences.

GISSV will open new K-5 campus in San Francisco
GISSV is looking for a campus location to start instruction to no more than 20 Kindergarten students starting in August 2011.  To make this search for a location as successful as possible, GISSV welcomes information for a potential campus location. GISSV intends to have a pedagogically suitable location identified by mid-March. Take advantage of the early enrollment discount, the early enrollment period starts on January 15th until February 25th. The German news station 'n-tv' produced a documentary that takes a look behind the scenes of the luxury industry. Kai Enders, Member of the Board of Engel & Völkers AG, gives insight into the prime property market. Joy-Patrick Vellguth, Property Consultant of Engel & Völkers Hamburg, presents two luxury apartments.

In this production presented by GASPA , Bridge Markland throws a subjective eye onto the lives of various personalities, zaps through their biographies and throws them all "in the box". The action / dance / performance was choreographed onto the soundtrack and performed in and out of the box. In every part of the performance the box stands for something else and continues to change its meaning throughout the piece.
